Trapped is a one woman/one man dramatic stage play about a woman bounded by the perils of domestic violence encountered by her estranged husband. Being called his “trophy” by her abusive jealous husband, Sheila endures the most extreme physical, emotional and mental turmoil that causes her unbelievable pain. After years of abuse, Sheila turns to alcohol and drugs as her sedative to hide her extreme depression. Sheila ends up on the streets homeless with no direction or future. In this riveting dramatic play of horrific scenes Sheila hits rock bottom before she realizes that her life is parallel to potential death. Not until she gets arrested does Sheila realizes that her fate lies with someone who will change her life in a way that she would never imagine.

This play concludes with cathartic scenes of empowerment through positive choices that leads Sheila to turn her life around. Through belief and wisdom Sheila becomes the woman that beats all odds.
